The original sacred altar from the Mysteries of the Black Madonna tarot deck : the  Major Arcana card VI Mother of Justice

In this altar the sacred icon of the Lady of Altotting bridges the gap between the sacred tree and the Christian altar.

In the scales of justice lies the red spindle of Anna, Mary and Freya, goddess of spinning; on the right hand side is the double edged blade of justice.

The rooster and Judas are both psychopomps into the journey of the Underworld and may be called lucifer, the Lightbringer. Our deepest fears will take us into the darkness where we have to allow the Black Madonna to emerge within ourselves

Each altar is unique; set in a wooden three dimensional box, and can be hung (if you attach a small hanger) or stand against something.  The dimensions are 17 cm x 14 cm.  Each altar is signed by myself, has the corresponding tarot card on the back and comes with a card wax sealed.  I ship in carefully packaged boxes with DHL International Courier Express worldwide – delivery within a week – and this is included in the price.
